Been without the power since just after 11 last night. God knows when it'll be restored. I'm guessing that there's a lot of people without power now. It's been wild down here. The road is covered with debris (twigs, small branches etc). I thought Bert was bad a couple of weeks ago, this has been worse.

I have just driven to work in Taunton, from my gaff near Glastonbury. It was lots of fun driving across the levels.

I was supposed to be picking my kids up in bath but not gonna risk it. Last storm so many trees had come down into the roads and this feels a lot more powerful

Wind sounds lively here on the Flyde coast and storm gates closed on the seafront due more to the big pebbles the sea will chuck up rather than water.

A big hearty thanks to Natural Resources Wales for reminding me of storm Darragh. At 2.22 am, 3.19 am and again at 3.23 am. I can sleep at night now....or not as the case may be.
