Storm Dudley/Eunice/Franklin

They are all on my train. Including a hen party who seem to be enjoying themselves.

Railways have been very busy despite people being told not to travel and tickets will be accepted tomorrow.

Spose it depends on where you are in the country the differences are magnified.
Pub is in Cheshire. Daughters friend had her shift cancelled tonight as most bookings had cancelled because if the impending doomsday weather scenario. I know its been disruptive down south but not really up here.

What do you want authorities to do when they see a storm coming?

Have you moved on from SAGE to weather modellers?

Perhaps you should petition for modelling to be banned?

Strange one. I’ve just been to the pub and it was rammed. Still gusty here in Warrington and pissing down but pub was full as it usually is on a Friday.

If this hadn''t been hyped up on the main news outlets for the last 2 days - it would just be a wet, gusty night. Instead - disrupt everything and baton down the hatches. Another case of television stations encouraging everyone to stay in and .... er watch television.
Yes there are unfortunate instances, as with all bad weather occuences, but this proves once again - predicting has a long way to go.
