Straight forward question.

when the reason for why we will win is 'we are due' then I roll my eyes.

please provide a real football reason why City will beat United at Wembley because at the moment I don't see how unless we pip them.

Chill mate

it was pretty obvious i was trying to be humerous i,m in NZ and wasnt even able to see the game (they dont show the cup over here).

If you want footballing reasons I did see the last derby though and if shrek hadnt scored what was to be fair a freak goal then we were well in that game and that was at the swamp.

Add in that unless we really perform well against Kiev we are likely out of Europa whereas they could still still have CL and the league to worry about and we have a team that on the day can match it with anyone then there are plenty of reasons to believe we can win.

I know i,m thousands of miles away but why is everyone so negative yes we havent been killing everyone 10-nil yes Mancini goes on about playing every three days but its the truth ffs and last time I looked we are still 3rd and in an FA Cup semi.

We have also had key players out over the past 5 weeks guys like NDJ who by the sound of it was important today!

One off game and I believe our lads will be well and truly up for it. I'm saying yes!

7 clean sheets in 10 games

add balotelli, de jong and aj to the team that didnt deserve to lose at the swamp recently

they ain't the team they were and neither are we

plenty of causes for optimism

If the players read this thread they have no chance lol

Thats the spirit! But I don't think the Mancini Way will suffice to be perfectly honest, catenaccio is certainly not the way to beat them in my opinion. Get in their faces from the first whistle...... and then stay in them for the full 90..... thats how to beat the rags, they don't like it up 'em you know! City were poor today but the shining light for you lot is Tevez, if he plays then anything is possible, probably the best striker in the world (imho).

Mancini needs to dig out the recent Liverpool v Man Ure game and show it to the players, its the blueprint to a Wembley final for City and make no mistake, City have the players to do a similar number on United. They just need to believe it and then execute it. Easier said than done against that shower of bastards I know but they really are not a great team at all......

My gut feeling is that City will prevail somehow. I'm not a City fan so it doesn't bother me too much but as a neutral I just think that the law of averages or the 'Tevez Factor' will come in to play and it would be poetic justice if you make your first final for 35 years by dumping those twats out.

Good Luck City
Good post that mate.

I believe, hand on heart, that we have as much, in fact marginally more, ability than them. I also believe that they have ridden their luck terribly against us for a couple of years .

I'm scared of our poor form and will be amxiously watching de Jong, hart, kompany, tevez and silva for injuries and suspensions over the next few weeks.

For the first time in years it's their luck, not ability, which frightens me this time.

This is the thing that interests me the most too. The referee will be key, as their luck tends to be from that general direction. City have the better spread of players in every position, absolutely no question about that, its the ones that are selected on the day who have the responsibility and sometimes you have to make your own luck. I really hope that City go for it and don't just play to cancel them out because it always comes down to firepower in a shootout and City have bigger guns than United in my opinion

Our time is coming. Our luck has to change.

Neutral venue and a few more weeks of our team getting to know each other better then we have a chance. The players and Mancini have to believe they are good enough to win. I believe we are good enough to win and that we will win.

2-0 up with 3 minutes to go though and I will still be looking at my watch.

We should look forward to this match as it is our next opportunity to prove we are capable of sitting at the top table. I'd love us to win cleanly, 11 against 11 and by scoring beautiful goals created by our skilful players to show the world what we can do and for them to know we are going to get better and better.

This

if the players do their own thing and ignore bobbys tactics then we have a chance? ferguson has got bobbys tactics sussed, like some of the guys have been saying the players need to get in their faces, but i don,t like to put petrol on the fire what if it is walton or webb with the whistle???

Yes if we play our best 'team'.
I think the game will depend on our midfield cohesion and movement as well as on our left back.

Nani and Valencia could run riot on that pitch....
