what about kaka

with ade going the other way plus 20million
Not sure of a place in our best 11, now, tbh. Can't see him coming here unless he was guaranteed to play every week (Injury prone now too)

Bang on. Hes hardly managed to string 5 straight games together in Madrid, due to injury. Coming to the most physically demanding league in the world would be a bad move for him and City

-- Sun Jul 31, 2011 11:04 pm --

I think that it is easy for regulars on Bluemoon to suppose that ex-players know more about current footballers in the rest of Europe than they actually do. I listened to an ex-City player on TalkSport confidently talking about the current City players but, when he was asked about potential buys, his ignorance was embarrassing. Or was that the Sports Editor of the Manchester Evening News? :-)

So the relevant question might be who Mike Summerbee would consider to be a more significant signing than Sergio Aguero.

If I had to bet, I would go for Fabregas. Arsenal have given Barca a deadline, which they are likely to fail to meet. Arsenal may be reconciled to losing him to us if Barca do not meet their fee (and, perhaps, if we cool our interest in Nasri). Fabregas may finally accept that Barca are good talkers who, when it came to the crunch, saw Sanchez as more important to them. And Tolmie has repeatedly said that Fabregas has been high (top?) in Mancini's wish list.

Or it could be Sneijder.
