Claiming we have had a fortunate start and we have our weaknesses which we all know, but why not write this about the rags?

Their fixtures have been piss easy and they have struggled far more than us.

just bizarre.

no i do agree with this partly, had we played arsenal or chelsea as we did on saturday, we would have been thrashed, we looked a bit shaky at the back and allowed a championship side to attack us without much pressure, which means the win has kind of covered the cracks however hughesy knows this and i think once lescott is bedded in, we will be fine

I know and I agree with it to an extent, its just a bizarre article to write in my opinion. The rags have been woeful up to yesterday and they played 2 promoted sides and looked more than shaky. Had they played an Arsenal or Chelsea they would of been hammered. Just seems an anti city article for the sake of writing one.

yeh i understand what your saying, why cant they write about everton or the other 19 teams in the league, good point

We're weak in defense, which will hopefully change with the establishment of a Toure, Lescott partnership. I don't think it's fair to knock our opening performances, we won and kept a clean sheet. We also made plenty of chances, just failed to convert them. Like MH's said, if we weren't making chances that would be something to worry about... In terms of our attack I think we'll only get better as the players gel. As for our defense, who knows??! I really hope we can become solid at the back.

All the centre backs in the world wont help if attacking players hang around on the half way line in smoking jackets when we lose the ball.

And here's me thinking we have won three matches on the trot, with a pretty much new team still gelling, yet there are still City fans who chose to moan, I despair sometimes with some that purport to support this club but do nothing but moan
