strange things we did when we were kids

Now when I was young I used to do some quite strange things, like when it was hot I used to pop tarmac bubbles, that formed down the country lane road, me and my friends used to play football on a busy road, using my mum and dads gateposts for goals (one day there was that many of us playing, we virtually stopped traffic). There are many more I could think of, but the strangest thing I remember doing as a kid was........Picking up dog shit with a stick, and placing it in the road, then I would sit on the kerbside and wait and wait and wait, until a car ran straight through it, and when it did I would let out a big cheer, then do it all again.

What things do you remember doing as a kid?, that seemed normal at the time, but are actually quite odd, now that we are grown up.

Guys who lived across the road had lorrys parked outside their houses all the time (moss side) and they used to give us their tyres, we used to play a kind of rolling leap frog game over them. I remember the tar bubbles too, what fun!

I couldn't watch the television unless I was watching it upside down with my legs over the back of the chair/sofa.
