Striker

normally id agree as im not a RSC fan nor do i believe we should be paying that much money for him

but after yesterdays game and various other games this season where we have failed to score when teams put everyone behind the ball....i think we have to go for him as we wont get anyone better at the moment
 
Totally need a striker. We are completely one-dimensional - other clubs know we have to play through them and our own wide players come narrow as there is no point going wide to put crosses in.

Whilst i dont want to see R1 footy, we have to have the option. RSC, whilst he may not b the final choice, would feed off Robbie/Bellers x's for fun IMHO.

This may be abit of wishful thinking but I would spend big and try for Adebayor, afterall Arsenal are always goint to play second fiddle to Chelski & Utd where we in the next season or two should be able to put in a real challenge.
 
I'd agree that RSC fills the role we need to fill, is he worth £20 million? i'd say most of us would agree the answer is no,but there you go, if we pay over the odds, he joins us,makes an impact and helps us move up the league into a European spot for next season, then that fact could encourage other players to join us in summer, the revenue for another Uefa run, you could argue that these facts mean paying the extra few million is worth it, and paid for itself. After yesterday, it is quite obvious we need a player of his ilk when teams sit back and defend to give us other options than just trying to play through them.
 
We need a proper left winger. Robinho isn't a proper one we need someone with trickery/skill/pace who can whip a great ball in like Petrov. Can't wait for Martin to get back to 100% since that will probably be near the end of the season anyway.
 
The only people i could see fitting in with what we need are
1 RSC
2 Drogba
3 Villa
4 Carew? (injured)
5 Keane


thats just a few but they are all good players, it would be hard to get anyone except RSC... heres hoping we do do something amazing
