Just because we win a game and we won the league last year doesnt mean people cant complain about players anymore, they are more than entitled to but we have the fingers in the ears brigade who just have a go at anyone who criticises, i prefer the people with opinions any day of the week!

So thinking that things aren't as bad as some make out and that certain players aren't as bad as some make out isn't an opinion? Work that one out!!?

The problem hasn't been differences of opinion but the venom and ferocity that many people have attacked the players and managers with. These are the same players and management that elevated City to the top and made us ecstatic by winning trophies. I welcome debate and constructive criticism but to verbally abuse the players with such ignorance is just plain wrong. That's why everyone thinks Bluemoon is infested with rags, simply because most people don't expect real City fans to call their Premiership winning players c~nts and f~ckers because they didn't win a game or aren't pumping 5 goals in every week.

Run that by me again.

Of course we are all entitled to voice our opinions. However some wumming goes on too. The "Silva is inefficient" thread looked a certain wum, a view which I posted at the time. The OP was probably a genuine supporter but a gobby one who thought it amusing. Or maybe pissed. It looks like the thread has finally been pulled. I couldn't find it this evening.

Part of the answer is not to indulge dickheads who start stupid threads. Just pile in and say it's a bag of shite rather than go along with it. That Silva thread ran to over 20 pages though iirc.

I don't know how many undercover rags are on here. Some BM'ers have a tendency to cry wolf (or more accurately "rag") too easily. For example, virtually anyone who criticised Mancini early in the season was branded a rag. Now it's become fashionable you hear it less.

Saying that, there are posters I respect who say we are infested. As the mod says, report the fuckers and let them be checked out.

It's a forum for discussion and debate about City

We are the largest and most popular City forum (and one of the largest Football forums and getting bigger all the time) on the net, thus we have 1000's of members, out of those 1000's of members there is bound to be a divergence of opinion

Not everyone sees things the same way, it's like eye witness statements to the police, 5 people can describe 5 different things!

A keyboard and a username allows people a degree of Anonymity, which allows them to say things (or type things) that they would not say in a conversation

We can't censor things so that all we have is back slapping, neither would we want to, the idea is that if someone posts something you disagree with try and counter it, it's all about debate

I for one am incredibly grateful to what we have now. I've seen the shit days, and now I'm seeing the incredible days. I moaned about the shit we used to watch, and I would be lying if I said I didn't moan when we have a shit game or a poor result now. It's what blues do, just seems more ridiculous now 'cause threads and news have generally been incredibly more positive since late 2008. I dont mind watching people have a moan about a poor ref decision, or a mistake by Joe Hart, 'cause although I try and remain more upbeat about it, I still do have a moan now and then. But I dont see the point in threads like this complaining about the behaviour of the other posters and having a rant cause it just doesn't help the attitude and atmosphere on this forum, to put it simply, it's moaning about moaning. Why not just voice your opinion on whatever thread you want, have your say, read everyone else's opinions, have a cold one, and be done with it.
