Sturgeon wants another referendum

If only it were the other way round...... Sigh
Indeed if only, afraid the sweatys are a bit too canny to put up with any of Sturgeons and fatty Salmonds nonsense, in the cold light of day they know which side their bread is buttered, sigh

Good luck to Sturgeon and the SNP. If I was a Scot I'd be voting for independence.

I can't abide May, Johnson, Davies, Fox and Ian Duncan Smith, and what they are now doing with Brexit. In the absence of any meaningful opposition the only satisfaction I've had of late is seeing the SNP put up a fight. My enemies enemy is my friend.

Great Britain? The United Kingdom? Do me a favour!

So a poll suggests no real appetite for independence and that Nicola is going to ditch the idea of staying in the EU because its now dawned on her she cant!

First opinion poll today
Stay 57%
Leave 43%

I'm not too surprised by that tbh. From what I've heard so far if the vote were tomorrow I don't think it would go too different to last time round. For all those who are dissapointed to be leaving the EU and would now vote Yes, there's also a few (in the case of my old man) who voted Yes last time round but wants Brexit so would rather be in the UK than the EU and would now vote No.

I don't know what the result will be if/when it happens, but I will say 2 things. It is absolutely right that there will be another vote - given that the biggest guarantee Darling and the Unionists gave us last time round was that the only way to preserve EU status was to vote No. As the SNP have always highlighted, they would fight for another referendum should this not take place and it turns out Scotland had been lied to, again.

Secondly, I'll say that if/when the vote takes place and the outcome is a No vote - I can't see another one taking place for at least a couple of decades. It's all or bust for the SNP now, and unless there are completely unprecedented circumstances this is the only mandate they will have to force another referendum.

I'm hoping appetite changes. Can't bare the thought of watching Labour party members dancing around hugging the Tory cunts ever again.

You are free to move there you know and join the fight.

So you will be moving to Scotland soon? Bye, dont let the door hit your stupid arse on your way out

She can't because trying to is pointless. France and Spain have the Basque and Catalan problem, Scotland would
have to join the euro, because they can't have the pound, the Bank of England won't support a country it has no sway
over, the debt v GDP is around 6-7 % higher than the criteria for joining the euro, current polling says there is no appetite
by the majority, May has refused a vote, and the UK parliament has the final say, etc; etc; blah blah blah.
It's high time this posturing no mark tried to sort her country's problems instead of this attention seeking nonsense.

So it's has come to the point where she can no longer hide the fact that Scotland can't join the Eu so she has ditched the only argument she had for a second indyref.

Time to step down dear before you embarrass yourself further.

You hit the nail on the head with that post!

I think our Scottish friends should wait a few years until brexit is resolved or we have a better idea of how its headed. The last vote was taken without the knowledge of us leaving the eu so they do have a point although the complete self interest shown by the SNP is a bit laughable. I do wonder the reason why the rest of the uk is bothered either way if Scotland is a drain on our resources. The next few years are going to be interesting with brexit,Scotland and NI all up for grabs. Shame The Welsh seem to be a permanent boil on our arse that shows no sign of fucking off.
