Good luck to him. I think it's a bit of a loss, & if he realizes the potential we've seen at City, he will make the England team, it's a pity he felt he couldn't do it with us. He offered something different up front & wasn't afraid to shoot on sight. Best of luck kid! (except against us, haha)

I think we have lost a potential England striker, as for his wage demands..... he must have looked at Jo and Benjani and seen that they were on higher wages than him and maybe he expected to be put on at least level with them. Yes he is probably badly advised by family and maybe comes accross as arrogant but the truth is that nobody on here knows him personally so cant say for sure that he is arrogant or money motivated. Stick to the facts, he was an excellent youth team player and had the potential to become a 1st team regular, things havent worked out for him here so good luck to him for the future.

Personally I rekon he will be in the 2018 world cup squad

There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, for me he was arrogant the last few times he played for us, never seemed to want to pass the ball, it looks to me like he is being poorly advised and its a shame because he has got real talent. If he thinks he is going to get regular first team football at Chelsea he couldn't be more deluded, anyhow good luck to him.
