Sturridge celebration

Everyone keeps going on about Sturridge's celebration, but what about Robinho cupping his ear to his own fans for his (which is sort of like shushing)?

I'm not saying it meant anything and I believe it didn't, but it's funny how people single out Sturridge for his just because they believe everything the papers print.

Is it? I was under the impression that he was listening to the fans cheering. Was Geovanni shushing the City fans when he scored for us against the rags? He didn't look best pleased when he scored, did he? What with all that ear-cupping, he looked pissed off!

It's not. Cupping the ear is a "LOUDER, LOUDER ;)" type thing. Geo did it against United.

Yeah, fair enough, l didn't think it meant anything anyway but I was just pointing out that it could have been seen as he was saying "you can't call me now" sly dig at us fans sort of thing, but I think you're right tbh, but it was just an example so people would stop calling Sturridge for his. He might have been being a prick with his celebration, but then again it could have been something else.
