I wouldn't go that far. Was always one of my fave players but he was wrong in the way he left. I certainly won't be wishing him good luck.

Its fans like you who are the reason we get called bitters the lad has done nothing wrong he let his contract run down and moved on to another club, he never claimed to be a city fan so why would he really want to stay here when we seem to be signing more strikers than we have room for? is the bitterness towards the lad really because you actually despite what you say think he is as good as he thinks and you know city have missed out?

Let's get over it!He's gone to Chelsea to warm the bench every week there instead-so what?
He couldn't get into our team on a regular basis,had little hope of doing so in the near future so he left.Simple.
We'll get a fee and it's not the end of the world.
I've never known a player that played so few games for City and yet has caused so much animosity.
He's just not worth it.

He so obviously wanted to be elsewhere and that goal "celebration" said it all.If a player deosn't want to play for us then just let him go.

Think people are overreacting a bit. To say you hope has a somewhat horrible, career-ending injury is just bad taste. He's just a kid that has let greed get the better of him. It's not the first time it's happened, and it won't be the last.

I wasn't pleased with the lad's attitude myself, but let's just get on with life. Good look Sturridge, you'll need it sunshine.
