From a squad sense no problem came from our academy. Will he want to be one of four strikers he would certainly get more games with us than Chelsea but he wouldn't be guarenteed a place. Can we sell Dzeko?

Avery bad idea imo. The lad isnt right in the head and we were lucky to get rid in the 1st place. far too arrogant and wrapped up in his own self importance. besides which - i dont think hes that good either!

Seems to have gone quiet again, this story has been going on ever since Mancini gave that quote before the Chelsea game last season.
Looks like this may just be another resurrection of that without any new substance.
Shame though, this was the one signing I was really hoping we would make in this window, I still think he has another level in him and if he ever makes that next step up I'd really hope it is here with us, I think his finishing is natural and so with better positioning and improved consistency he has the potential to be world class. Whether he ever reaches that potential is another question, but as I say I'd rather find out with him here, whilst in the meantime I still think he would be a more than decent squad addition.
