Stuttgart vs City

a better second half, although it could not get much worst and it is still is no way near good enough, friendly or no friendly.

Can only hope we're taking it easy to avoid further injuries (I.e. Delph) before the start of the season.

Losing to Madrid is one thing, but to see Stuttgart (a team that finished halfway up their domestic league, last season), waltzing through the centre of of our, none existent, midfield, time & time again, without a hand being laid upon them, was, quite frankly, embarrassing.

A CM with a bit of pace, courage, and the ability to make a tackle is a priority in my view. (Even more so than DeBruyne, on today's showing),

Most worryingly though, is despite being together for well over a season now, (at least in training if not always in competitive matches) Kompany & Mangala still seem to have little or no understanding of each other's game at all, and judging by today's showing, it shows little or no signs of getting any better in the near future.

The one bright spot is iheanacho really looks a player quick and sharp. Nasri, Sagna, kolorov, mangala and hate to say it vi have made me want to weep today. How are we so unfit and disorganised?

The game was advertised as 'live' in Australia but is in fact an hour behind, so I got up and missed the first half. At the moment we are 1-0 down but the thing that is really noticeable is the energy and pressing of the opposition. We look miles off the pace.

It gets a lot worse so be prepared

Could the same not be said of Kompany with regards to Demichelis, seeing as they formed a title winning partnership.

Not imo. and we were commenting upon Mangala. Kompany is struggling it is self evident. I think Denayer will surpass him soon.
