I already stated my point, MDM and Mangala were the better partnership last season. Milan won numerous honours with Baresi and Maldini but I don't see them starting next season....

I'd agree with this. I've never subscribed to the Kompany in midfield camp but we look so shit defensively I think he should be in midfield with Mangala and Denayer behind him

Could the same not be said of Kompany with regards to Demichelis, seeing as they formed a title winning partnership.

Kompany and Mangala are both too excitable, put either next to a Denayer/Demichelis and they'll balance out. But why Kompany is the only one to get such a black mark is a mystery to me when he and Mangala are as bad as each other.
