Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

Re: Suarez

It's assault - not just an innocent bite by a troubled person! Call the police and arrest the cannibal

Any links to RAWK's reaction.

Here's a good one (although in fairness it's a mixed reaction!).....

One bite, two bites, three bites.... it's all the same to us. Nothing new.

No way will we (or rather should we) be thinking about that. We've been through far worse with him.

Re: Suarez

i dont think fa has any chance of banning him, since it wasnt in their tournament. fifa can ban him from the world cup games, and uefa from european competition possibly since it was an international tournament.

Re: Suarez

If he's already served two bans for the same thing then had treatment for it and then still goes and does it again, he is not fit to be on a football pitch and should serve a complete ban from the sport because he is not safe to be on the pitch with other players.

Get him out of this sport for good!

I'm willing to wager that he gets absolutely no ban, off anyone. The PL will pussy out and claim it's not their jurisdiction so can't ban him (despite that being untrue), then FIFA will claim they don't do retrospective bans. He will get off completely free

They will it's gone global

It certainly has, Al Jazeera, China news are all leading with this story

Re: Suarez

Even having had time to look at the evidence would we be blinkered enough to defend the indefensible with an argument like this????

You should look into the studies on eye witness evidence and how reliable it is. People see what they expect to see. If that wasn't Suarez would you automatically assume the same?

I'm not saying he didn't do it but he's being convicted for previous 'crimes'. Sorry but it's what I believe in. I lived through a dark period in England where a whole swathe of people were convicted because it was 'obvious' that they were guilty.

Anyway, you lot all go ahead and lynch him encase after all... He's Luis Suarez, devil incarnate and the most evil footballer on the planet.

And to be honest - as I've said before a little nibble in the shoulder is nowhere near as bad as an elbow or headbutt or career ending scything tackle.
