Here's the guardian spin on it

And here's the rumour statistics per paper, a lot better than the Sun & The Mirror...therefore more trustworthy

Regardless - that's exactly how I would expect the club to react.

If he goes it would be hilarious to see them spunk all their dough on another Carroll but I think they are past all that king Kenny nonsense and should have learnt from previous mistakes.

If Suarez does go they will finish in the Europa league slots and even if he stays (he'll go to RM if they dont land Bale) they still won't break into the top 4. Suarez knows this and is jumping ship wanting out ASAP whilst his stock is high and wants CL football. Doesn't give a shit if its England or wherever, this story about the press making his life intolerable is his 1st excuse. There will be more as soon as RM say yay/nay. I think Liverpool are playing their cards right at this moment in time until they know the score from any foreign interest or bids of 50+ come in and surely arsenal won't do that. Over to you Real...

Liverpool are still years behind but I applaud what Rodgers is trying to do with the resources available to him and is managing expectations well (by giving the supporters no expectations...) and will be interesting to see how this develops as there could be two top clubs with players who don't want to play for them (Rooney) which only ends in tears. For this reason I think Rodgers is resigned to reluctantly let him leave but the board obviously want top dollar for him and rightly so. Not the kind of business you want to be conducting when trying to prep for a new season.

Either way, it's nice that we have gone about our business this year in such a swift and organised manner so we can concentrate on hitting the ground running...

If Liverpool keep Suarez and he can replicate similar form to last season they will get top 4 in my opinion.
Can't agree with you on this Brighton, who are they gonna finish higher than. City, Rags, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs? Has to be two of the five.
