Subs warming up...

The reason is to stop them warming up near the assistant on that side, nothing to do with standing.

Subs always had to warm up behind the lino (and max 3 per team at any one time I think) to stay out of line of sight of the lino but it looks like this has changed probably due to getting loads of grief from subs warming up behind them.

I think t was purely for the fatc that Swansea warmed up down that end. So when Aguero and co got up to Warm up they followed. I dont really think they have been forced to warm up down that end. Should be backto normal next home game when Aguero is starting. ;)

then why didn't they do it last season when the assistant was down that side? I agree with the OP on this one. Why suddenly change to the other side? I guess it could be that they have now put an advertising board behind the camera man which does not leave the players anywhere to go except either in front of the camera, thereby obscuring the view, or on the 'running track'. Move the advertising boards and let us have our players back!! :-)

Seems a bit paranoid to me

Would it not be just a sensible policy to switch the warm up ends around - give more fans chance to see the players close and show some appreciation

Why should it always be in front of the same fans?

I agree that switching ends is a good idea but was miffed when this was happening on Monday, Ive not seen or heard a decent explanation for it.
