Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

To be honest and I don't want people to take offence but anyone who voted for Brexit was stupid, we voted to put economic sanctions upon ourselves despite all the warnings about the consequences, and all the consequences have happened or are in the process of happening

Right Wing populism offers simple answers to complex problems and it never works, it's also very divisive they always need an enemy, if they can't find one they invent one like the term "Woke" although the Jewish community will be pleased that they have moved on from them and are now focused on Muslims
To be reasonable a fair few folk who voted for brexit bought into the lies they were fed. Not everyone who voted for it were stupid, racist or whatever else they get called. And I’m sure a lot regret it now too.

This whole thread is a microcosm of what Cruella wants with her comments. Keeps her relevant, divides people and feeds her base.

So they weren’t stupid.then?

Given Dysons comments and what he then did yes i think on this topic he was stupid.

They didnt vote for it for the good of the country they did it to help their own pockets at the expense of everyone else.

Make your mind up, they were either stupid or selfish. You are just proving the fatuousness of your original statement.

Good grief.

Did someone say "off piste"?

That's this thread, that is.

Sunak has the balls to bring back Cameron as he realises that appealing to racists and Leavers (and racist Leavers) is a policy of diminishing returns.

And we've had umpteen pages about "why Brexit?" rather than about why no MP in the existing Cabinet is good enough to occupy one of the great offices of State.

I think it's so he can go into a GE knowing that at least one member of the Cabinet can't lose his seat in the election.
You’ve had a few unelected Prime ministers and now you have a foreign secretary that isn’t an MP at all. Am I correct?

Is that normal?
