Suffering

Normaly I could watch any football match but because the emotions I went through on last day I couldn't get in euros at all. Only started to enjoy the game last night when I knew penalties were coming and the excitement kicked in. Thanks city for fecking me up

I needed a break from City playing, to be honest. Those last few weeks left me a nervous wreck and I'm enjoying the close season, basking in the knowledge that we are the Premier League Champions!

Definitely needed a break, felt like I had played a season myself and the stress!!
For two days after the game I was getting palpitations just thinking what happened, what could have happened!
I will enjoy the Summer, if we have one.

I don't want it to be like that again. That was a one off.

I would happily settle for us to win it with 4 games to go.

I have watched the Champions DVD at least a few times a week and its on again now. I've seen a video of Agueros goal (thanks to youtube) probably from every possible vantage point possible, be it a pub in Belfast or some bar in Singapore. I've also seen the goal in countless languages...

I miss the title race, yes it nearly went to pot but the way we did it makes me crave that moment again. I watched England tonight and failed to gather any single ounce or amount of passion, i'm showing more passion right now watching us get beat by Swansea and now i'm depressed knowing that it is at least 6-7 weeks until any sort of football with players in that blue shirt. :(

Anyone else suffering from post-title-winning-lack-of-football-trauma?

Less than 7 weeks to the Community Shield game. I will be more than ready for it by then.

This is exactly how I feel, and even now, every time I watch Aguerros goal my stomach goes in knots.

I have to say I've enjoyed the euros, been some cracking games and enjoyed watching them most nights. Having said that though I can't wait for them to be over(not just because England are out), because once it's done and dusted that will make the domestic season seem ever closer.

Can't wait 'til we get into July and we can switch on SSN to find out about transfer stories instead of Euro 2012 round ups and team news. I'm even missing us being slagged off on TalkSport instead of hearing about bloody international football all the time.

I assume the lads will be back in training in 2 weeks?(Obviously not the ones involved in the Euros) look forward to that then the friendlies of course. I'm usually fed up of pre-season friendlies after a couple of weeks but right now I'll take them, just wanna see the lads back in the blue shirts again, the season still feels so far away and I need my City fix! International football can be good but it just doesn't come anywhere close to the Premier League.

A little break for us to take some time out and enjoy celebrating is whats doing me well.

I know a few members of my family and a few on here ive spoke to alot were like me, fucking exhausted come the end. The emotion, nerves, excitement etc just took it out of us all.

We've just been on an epic journey, a nice break laughing at England then back to it for another 9 months of twists and turns plus more exhaustion.

Summed up perfectly.
