Did anyone notice the bridge swaying after the match when there were more fans using it leaving the ground? it was quite a significant movement!

Are you sure it was the bridge... Or had you just had to much over the festive period ;)

No, honestly it was moving. Guy in front of me thought he was having a dizzy turn!!! It was towards the end before it splits taking you down the steps towards the minihad CFA

Reading that report through raises some alarms in my mind. As I understand it, all bridges up to the Millennium Bridge have NOT been designed to factor in "synchronous lateral excitation", and that the designs of previously built bridges (particularly those with heavy foot traffic) should be re-visited.

I wonder if synchronous lateral excitation was factored into our bridge? Reading that report from Ove Arup, I'd be pretty disappointed if it hadn't, Arups have a big office in town!

I don't know about 'synchronous lateral excitation' but I think I suffered 'asynchronous lateral excitation' when the second Burnley goal went in! Really pissed me off!

You need to go see a Doctor asap Dave, you could get a serious wobble on and collapse!
