Blues,

Does anyone have experience of multi-destination holidays?

In recent years, we've had some great holidays but I'm finding myself getting a bit restless after 9/10 days of 2 week beach holidays. Ideally I'd love to do a 3/4 night city break/sightseeing hol followed by a 11 night beach holiday so that we'd both get something that would suit us.

Has anyone done anything like this? Could anyone recommend some decent websites or companies to use? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Try Cuba. 4 days in Havana then a week down at Varadero on the beach. We stayed at the Riu hotel at Varadero. I can recommend it genuinely top class. Havana is a blast and see it before the USA gets it back.

Our daughter is getting married next July at the Iberosta,Veradero and 12 of us are making the trip,so whats that neck of the woods like mate ? We usually go to Playa Pesquero in Holguin, but looking forward to a new location on the island.Love the country and the people.

Varedero is great, best beaches in Cuba and Iberostar is one of the top resorts. I have only stayed in Iberostars in the Mayan, but they don't mess around.

Cheers Barcon. She`s got the full wedding do booked and she`s managed to get a full cost of only £17K for the two weeks for 12 of us,which is pretty good, seeing that its fully inclusive.Unfortunately for us,she`s not paying but by the same token neither is Dad,thank fuck. ;)
Her and hubby to be are having a couple of nights in Havana, whilst we look after grandson Noah and I know that they`re looking forward to a mini break away from the rest of us.
Looks very nice the Hotel and nice to hear that you regularly stay in them.Love snorkelling and the beach is private,as most are.
Biggest shit about the holiday, that bastard 9 hour flight as I can never sleep on an aircraft !! Put me on a train and I`m soon out for the count.Ah well a small price to pay.

Sounds great Oakie, I'm sure you'll love it. Congrats on the daughter getting married as well (To a canuck if I'm not mistaken). I feel your pain re: the flight, it's only 4 hours for me but I'm Manc bound this year and I can't sleep either.

He a great Brummie and a Villa ST lad,so not too bad,but unfortunately his old fella (Noahs other grandad) is a fooking Brummie Rag.
Never been in late July/early August as we usually go in early October and its bloody warm and humid then,so god knows what its like when we`ll be there.

Good thing is that they don`t do direct flights from Brum, where the other 9 are coming from,so we`re all flying from Manchester. That means my dear one can at least move about chopsing to the rest of the gang,as its just normally me and her,so might get away with a few beers and shorts mate.
Can`t believe our 22 year old son is coming with us and thought we`d finally fucked him off after our last holiday away together some 6 years ago in Menorca.Mind he is very close to his sister and his new nephew.Only problem is they don`t sell fooking Cider in Cuba,so fuck knows what he`ll get pissed on as he hates lager and shorts, well apart from Vodka !!
