Premier League clubs have voted to extend the summer transfer window back to the end of August:

It was very stupid idea in the first place to shorten the transfer window. I am for scrapping both windows and adopt the old method with a few tweaks.

The Premier League season will start just 28 days after the conclusion of the 2020 European Championships AND Copa América.

Hopefully it messes with Jim Shite's holiday plans and he misses out on Sly Sports that night as he sits by a darkened pool somewhere in Greece shouting ( whilst thinking he is whispering of course )

It was only ever going to work if the best of Europe/other big leagues fell in line, which I don't blame them for not doing so, they'll take any advantage they can get.

It's better this way I mean we had to stop buying before the season started but could potentially lose a player up until the end of August to another European side.
