Op. She's definitely taking the piss there. Hugely inconsiderate. Id marvel at how she is so busy on a Sunday. If she says she isn't then put her head through the fence and tell her to leave the lawn until a reasonable hour or, blag her head that cutting grass early in the day and mowing and watering are best left until late afternoon to prevent scorching (there may be an element of truth in that too but check because I talk a lot of shit)

I work away quite a lot and usually really look forward to a lie in on Sundays. Nothing ridiculous, around 10-ish or so.

My neighbour's missus had the mower going at just gone eight this morning which brassed me off somewhat.

What's the earliest acceptable time for such activity? I would never start until at least 10:30, maybe I'm too considerate?

I'd like to have a word with her but would prefer a consensus from here with which to support my case.

"Hi (insert name). I've just mentioned your early morning activity to a bunch of total strangers and they think you should desist until (insert time) at the earliest."

Any ideas? I don't want to antagonise her as she has very nice chest ornaments.

If it was a worky week days i wouldn't expect them to make a racket until 8am and weekends 10am.

Verboten on a Sunday in Germany, as is making a noise of any kind.
Also not allowed between 22:00 and 6am and 1pm to 3pm. (Regional variations apply).

Cutting it at 6:01 am on a Saturday morning is fine though.
