I just asked the girlfriend what should we have for Sunday lunch and she says we have some potato's. Or fish, in a tin, she says she can boil them in hot water no less i think she means the potato's.

Change of plan we can now have hotdogs. I've pointed out we have no bread, so she says she means just the sausage!

Pork, roasters, parsnips, asparagus, carrot/swede, yorkshire puds, gravy, apple sauce.

Tiramasu and single cream.

A Chilean cabernet sauvignon.

I am spoilt. Will be ready in half an hour.

I am having a venison stew.

And a nice big piece of pukka homemade chocolate cake.

Im not a massive fan of veg so i like to mix things up when it comes to your sunday roast veg. these are some of my classics.....

chilli infused baby carrots
Honey and clemintine parsnips
On special occasions ill cook my roasties in goose fat.
Peas with crispy pancetta and shalotts.
Bubble and squeak

dont use all of these every sunday but its nice to spice up you veg now and again. Anyone got any secrets they wish to share?

I've got to be honest as I've banned her from the kitchen, except for cleaning, as I've discovered she has the ability to burn water.
