Sunday Supplement to return to Sky

Like 4-2 flattered Liverpool massively!

What these people don’t realise is the way we play will always give opponents that long ball down the line or over the top especially when these teams don’t want to move from there pen area sit in..
No system of play has every aspect of the game boxed off. If you look at probably the best team of all time, Peps Barcelona side, every so called pundit used to say you could get at them, very few did because no team could get the ball off them. Every team has a weakness.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been a Sky Sports subscriber for over 20 years (currently via NOW TV) but after this month no longer.

I am cancelling after watching this morning's latest example of you rolling out the welcome mat for journalists linked heavily with US owned clubs.

Miguel Delaney is a well-known Liverpool supporter, Jonathan Liew a lifelong Spurs & Arsenal fan and Charlotte Dunker the former Manchester United correspondent for Goal. As a Manchester City season ticket holder for over 40 years your constant negative coverage of my club over the past decade has proved increasingly tiresome and since the US takeover is now actively prejudicial. (Delaney in particular has made a career from his serial Man City attacks and Liew is following the same path.)

No surprise that you are the client media of choice for American PL club owners after awarding you the contract to broadcast their games. You do not disappoint them and play a full part in pumping out their relentless and openly racist 'cheating Arab oil club' narratives about my team.

It is in truth a succession of confections designed solely to inflict reputational damage on a competitor in a vain effort to protect their income streams. 'State ownership'' followed by ''Financial Doping" followed by "Sportswashing" followed by "115 Charges" - what next I wonder?

Yet more integrity-free, utterly biased broadcasting on your part it seems but at least no longer paid for by me.

Yours sincerely,

Me too. I'll only watch if Martin Samuel is on.
It will be really interesting to see if Samuel appears on the show now. He’s top writer at the Sunday Times I think, and I’m talking the whole paper, not just sport, so he might well give it a swerve anyway, that’s assuming he even gets asked …

But yep, I would deffo watch it too if he was on. The Times football podcast is every Monday and Thursday but he’s only on the latter, so I give the Monday edition which has Anfield Rudd on instead, a wide berth.

Delooney and that pompous prick Liew fucking despise us, so I decided to give it a swerve.
I think I actually despise Liew more than Delaney. With Delaney it’s pretty obvious what he is, but Liew cultivates this aura of disinterested but eccentric intellect is the best way I can describe it. He dresses his one-eyed distorted nonsensical views up as cutting edge sagacity. As if anyone who doesn’t agree with his view is beneath him and worthy of contempt.

Regardless of what results from that, if anything, chapeau for the good work.

Agreed he's a massive bellend.

That is fantastic.

I agree. Liew is a first class twat.

Aside from everything else, who the fuck is a Spurs and Arsenal fan? That’s like being a city fan and a rag at the same time.

Anyway, never heard of the bloke and I’m glad I haven’t. But football journalism is increasingly full of these middle class types trying to bring their talking points to a working class game that doesn’t give a fuck.

This was the worst thing on TV when it used to be on and I'll only watch it if someone bursts into the studio while it's on and slaps every **** at the table with a big frozen haddock.
When it was originally shelved sky said that it had become outdated and viewing figures had plummeted. So after a few years have gone by they decide to bring it back. Wonder what has changed in the interim?

The red shirts needed another propaganda outlet, fuck knows, they'll have Goldbridge and that bald Irish nonce on it before the seasons over.

Did it ever go away? Sky just replaced journalists with podcasters and YouTubers.

Now they have fanalysts and brought back journalists.

It’s just people talking 24/7 without actually saying much.
