Winter's remarks about the character of the owners at the first PC are indefensible but SWPB is absolutely correct about Cook being out of the loop about Hughes replacement by Mancini. I met him in in Abu Dhabi a couple of weeks before the sacking and Cook was utterly convinced that Hughes would stay until the end of that season.
