Except Vinnie and Zabs Pam..;)
And De Jong and, (for his goals at least), Tevez. But yeah, other than that. ;-)

To be fair, he also gave us the delights of Bridge, Santa Cruz, Jo, Tal Ben Haim etc... ;o)

City v spurs is the first game next Sunday @ 1.30 then arsenal v spurs

It's only the same praise we got at the start, when we were sweeping everyone aside with fantastic performances. It's Spurs' turn now, as it goes though they should be due for another blip just as we come out of ours, then we can hear about all the nice things they say about us and watch them use the words 'Typical' and 'Spurs' when Spurs collapse, which i'm convinced will happen.

For once I agree with you, lets face they have to talk about something even if they do over egg the pudding, they can't sit there and talk about the price of fish! Next week (or the week after) if will be all praise and everyone on here will have forgotten about this weeks slagging[/quote]

And to change the subject slightly, did anyone hear the insane remark about how the clueless one buys well. Not at City he didn't.

Barry, Lescott, De Jong, Kompany, Zabaleta, Tevez. Bearing in mind the fact that at that time we were not going to be able to attract the Yaya Toures, Agueros, Silvas, Balotellis, etc, not a bad record imo.

Watch Football First. Hefty sized highlights will show you what I'm talking about. Nobody is saying they're not good to watch but they're nothing to wank about and when I watch them live, they usually have at least one diabolical half. Christ, even Spurs fans know the media hype the team up and the sensible ones or saying so.

It's the old hype 'em up to knock 'em down cycle. It's what the British football media does best.

Spurs aren't media darlings. They're just flavour of the month. The media sensationalise a club's success so that, when it all comes crashing down, it's a bigger story for them to write / talk about.

It's already there in some of today's reports of the Wolves game.

To be fair he had fuck all to do with signing Tevez, he was just lucky enough to be the beneficiary. Kompany was signed as a midfielder too, so he can't really take much credit there either. He also massively overspent on most of the players he did bring in. As well as signing such utter fucking shite as RSC TBH and Wayne Bridge.

What a tosspot John cross is, was asked if he thought bobby was not as cool as he thinks he is straight away he got excited right this is my chance, absolutely he is complaining about games coming thick and fast well hasn't every team, no you fkn prick we were playing to many close games due to sky,he then goes on to say bob was saying he can't fill the bench and no one has any sympathy for him he then says would ferguson react like that! Ferguson doesn't have to to many decisions goes his way. Barclay then says it is poor management. Jesus wept I think it is a pisser this programme,
