That was a lovely last 5 minutes about us, and Manuel in particular. All of them admitting that thyey can get sweet fuck all out of him at press conferences and that some don't even bother going now. Haha, quality.
Excellent show that, last 5 like you say was a nice touch about us

Ashton made Winter and Custis shake hands at the end, bet they are throttling each other off air, no love lost there

Ignoring the Giggs/Neville/Beckham lot, name me one 'world class' midfielder, defender or forward that the Filth have brought through their world famous academy?

.
Shaun Goater, though not strictly speaking academy. Better than any of the rest anyway.

He's missing the whole point of our youth policy, it's about developing amazing footballers from all areas of the world ! And if they don't make it in our squad then the talent will filter through into other clubs and leagues all over !

Agreed.

Re: Sunday Supplement

Custis is is a very very bitter, jealous individual indeed.

Bitter Geordie.!

There one I know exactly the same as him ,comes out with the same anti City bollox.

It's jealousy plain and simple and the fact that City are bringing these traits out in people is certainly a beautiful thing indeed.

Fat Ashley at Newcastle ..... Now there's a model owner if ever I saw one.

Re: Sunday Supplement

The English equation is a joke. Was not too long ago we have 6 starters in the England Team. To compare Utd's English players to ours is laugable. If they played for anyone else bar Utd would Cleverly, Smalling, Jones etc even get in the squad. If the manager picked players on ability rather than to sell tickets would anyone choose Cleverly over Barry this season on footballing grounds. Remember Hodgson leaving Lescott out of a squad and said its due to him not playing for City but then called up Smalling who had started a lot fewer games than Lescott at the time.
It is not our job to produce players for England

-- Sun Feb 02, 2014 10:56 am --
