Agree with you m8. All teams have "if" moments and we've had our fair share this year.
The thing with the Gerard slip is that it is/will become the defining moment of when Liverpool fucked up if we go on to win the league. I mean look at all the gifs on here this week and singing about it yesterday.

Was sat in front of Samuels at Wembley for the Sunderland game. Scribbled a note saying: "The only journalist who understands FFP".

Think of Nasty and Hart at Chelsea, that's an extra point there, 2 points Chelsea shouldn't even have. Draws at Southampton, Norwich, losing to Villa and Sunderland and then drawing with Sunderland at home. If we counted up all the what if's for us this season and turned them into 3 points the players would of been on their holidays now. Bit stupid really they are bringing stuff like that up. There are equal what if's for Liverpool in the sense that, what if Suarez rightly was sent off in our game against them, all those dives and penalties that shouldn't of been that they've had.
I think the season evens itself out and Liverpool should not of been where they were and it has evened out now, they got completely outdone by Chelsea and that was called Karma. If we looked at who deserved it more then it has to be Chelsea because they have won the most games against the top 4 but then they have stuffed up against lesser teams. Whoever wins it will probably more or less deserve it and I never understand why journo's don't embrace that.

Funny how Curtis complains about Newcastle's owner. I presume he wants him to to sink more of his money into the club or preferably sell to someone who could more afford to (who presumably would be severely hampered unless they could make NU into a global brand in order to bring in the required funds.) Would love to see Ian Herbert on the show with Martin Samuel.
Herbert has clearly no idea about FFP his match report today is a few token lines about the game and the rest about potential punishment for the club.
