Re: Sunday Supplement
From Sky:
The Sunday Supplement returns this weekend, ahead of the new Premier League season – and there’s plenty for host Neil Ashton and his guests to discuss.
From Louis van Gaal’s arrival at Manchester United to the headline-grabbing transfers involving Alexis Sanchez, Diego Costa and Liverpool’s out-going talisman Luis Suarez, the top flight is packed with intrigue ahead of the big kick-off.

August 10, 2014, 9:30am
Sports journalists Henry Winter (Daily Telegraph), Shaun Custis (The Sun) and Sam Wallace (The Independent) will be on set to have their say on how England’s top sides are shaping up and they’ll also react to the big stories on the back pages of Sunday’s papers.
Likely to be on their agenda this week will be:
BACK IN BLUE: Following Frank Lampard’s shock loan move to Man City, the Sunday Supplement panel will discuss the Financial Fairplay rules and implications – and what impact the former Chelsea man can have at the Etihad.
CELTIC’S RECALL: Despite losing their qualifier 6-1 to Legia Warsaw on aggregate, Celtic were sensationally reinstated into the Champions League on Friday. Our Fleet Street trio will explain the technicalities of the decision and analyse the draw for the final qualifying round, which paired Arsenal with Besiktas and Celtic with Maribor.
BRILLIANT IN BRAZIL: The trio will also take some time to reflect on the World Cup in Brazil. Pre-tournament critics were largely silenced as the South American country put on a stunning show, with Germany triumphing in the Maracana. We’ll ask Winter, Custis and Wallace for their verdict.
