go town if you are going for a drink for a few hours like others have said its not that far from the ground and loads of pubs oh and if someone comes upto you in a united top dont worry they just want directions as they get lost when they come to manchester

top advice ;-)

if you want a pub near the ground go to The Bradford on Bradford Road, there has been quite a few away fan's in there this season and there isn't any trouble. The beer is Holts so dirt cheap and it's a short walk down the canal to the ground. See you in there if you do!
BTW Niall Quinns disco pant's was our song first. (just had to say, as it has been a subject that has been 'discussed' with a few mackems in the past).lol.

I have been in The Victoria for both the Newcastle and Villa games and there has been loads of away fans mingling with the City fans with no problems. It is only about 2mins from the gorund on Grey Mare Lane. It is not the most exotic of establishments but has cheap beer, toilets and a beer garden.

This might be your best bet, as I can not see many pubs in the city center letting in 25 mackems.

For the UEFA Cup ties, there have been loads of Danish fans drinking in Norwegian Blue, and the other bars in the Printworks (off Corporation St) - advantage is it's still within walking distance of the ground (just!), and is close to other pubs / bars (Shambles Square - Sinclairs)

yeah but we made the better version lol.

and cheers everyone i think we are going to have a wander into town and have a few beers there. how about getting a drink in the ground. is that easy for away supporters and how much do you lot charge for pints. this is my second trip to the COM stadium and last time i didnt really remember it due to the effects of having a few too many pints.
