Come on Villa!!!!!! Half time and 2-0 up. Looks like Tuesday will be a massive game again for us.

Those stupid two headers by Everton loom so damn large right now, hope Villa can hold on but we'd be pissing ourselves over 2nd without that stupid game

Can't really look at the season like that though. Lots of thinkgs happen both lucky and unlucky for every team. You finish where you deserve.

shit happens, win our next 2 games and we hopefully will be ok.

We have to make sure we're up for it and go for it in both games.

Of course, it's just that all those other things had happened by the time we were in that position, and we were absolutely outplaying Everton....it doesn't matter but still manages to sting at the same time, if that makes any sense

edit: ultimately it's just recent history and i'm bitter about it

Let's hope we can win Stoke and Bolton. 3rd would be absolutely amazing!

Now nobody even wants to play in Europa League (can't say I blame them).

If they switched it back to elimination format, I think there would be less reluctance to be in it. It's even more taxing than the Champions League because you play on Thursday and there are tons of eastern European teams in it, meaning longer flights. It's a grind, look how many games we played just to get to the point we did.

I'd hate to drawn a Bayern Munich, not qualify and have the media pressure on Mancini and the team before we've kicked a PL ball in anger.
