It’s incredible how Gove was on a four Sundays ago as a critic of Truss’ premiership and, lo and behold, he’s back today wearing his Government hat.

Rees-Mogg has the thin lips of an inveterate nonce - and what sort of **** wears a double-breasted suit, shirt and tie whilst sat at home on a Sunday?
Are they out of fashion? Would a smoking jacket and cravat be more appropriate perhaps?
Asking for a friend.

A good illustration of the increasing factionalism in the party.
Who knows who he’ll be cheerleading for next.

when gove is in the cabinet he becomes chief proporganderist and bullshitter, when he is out of it he becomes sly as fuck against it.

Yet somehow always remains a ****, quite a talent.
He‘s clearly a gifted communicator and well connected in the media, too. He seems capable of doing more damage outside of government than inside, however, which probably explains why it’s better for Sunak to keep him close.

Gove gets 30 minutes and she has Lord Hammond on the ‘panel’. Cooper gets 8 minutes and is told to hurry up as we’re running out of time. The bias is now so clear and obvious even VAR would see it.
The BBC desperately hoping the government let’s them live for another 2 years, when they’ll then be under no threat whatsoever from a Labour Government.

As expected, might as well call it Tory party politics hour.

Tory K's reward for her loyalty at the last GE.

The question is can we afford to solve the climate challenge.

Well Yes as the planet and us will die off if we don't.
The question should be can we allow the elite and big business to put profit over the planet and blame/exploit the general public

the level of political debate is so shite

Miliband talking about owning energy and she’s seemingly backing the big energy companies.

To throw an issue WRT somebody being imprisoned in Egypt, during an important debate on climate change, shows the way the BBC and her are going.

I’m a little perturbed at the way this show is going. For instance, as has just been pointed out, renewables are 9 times cheaper than fossil fuel yet she argues that we should not be upsetting the energy giants.

Note the way she approaches each of the politicians. With Miliband, she interrupts, not engaging while looking at her notes, basically scoring points. With Dowden, she allows time for him to explain the big issues while keeping eye contact at all times.

The political/news aspect of the BBC is disheartening. Only Newsnight presents a balanced view and Tories are reluctant to go on there as they will be challenged. Maybe the Tories aren’t that bothered about Newsnight as it’s on late when most people go to bed.
