Sunderland (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Thought sunderland would have been struggling from all their players being at Afcon, but they looked impressive, definitely didnt look like a championship B side. Well done to them.

Awful from Haaland and Foden, genuinely playing with 9 men. They had seven players out and we barely tried until the second half. If we didn’t have Chelsea next Haaland would be benched. A truly lazy and abysmal performance from him.

Great second half just didn’t get that little be of luck we needed. Thought there was a foul in box on Josko right at end but never replayed. Sunderland is a tough place to get a win, there’s a reason they haven’t lost one yet.

Incredibly frustrating performance. 2nd half performance deserved the win.

Credit to them for throwing bodies in front of everything but we should have won that.

Missed too many chances.

After those two misses by Savinho I had a bad feeling those were going to be the best chances.

Still some positives. Rodri back made playing out the back 10x better. That's a good sign. Hope Pep don't overplay him.

Should have won that easily, but unfortunately all the best chances fell to our poorest finishers!

Sunderland fans celebrating like they'd won was hilarious!
