Sunderland undefeated at home. Lost players to Afcon but have a good system and spirit.

We can’t win every game.

Some individuals performed below par but I see no reason for doom and gloom.

That's not the point. If you wanna win titles, you've gotta grind out wins in the toughest games, rather than let your rivals extend their lead again, especially when they just turned over a top 3 side.

They're not gonna stay undefeated at home forever. It should be team like us handing them that defeat, rather than only showing urgency when the game is slipping away.

Very frustrating result against a dogged, physical Sunderland who raised their game significantly from their previous match against Leeds. First half we were not at the races, but second half we were the better side and unlucky not to come away with the win.

Unfortunately, we were wasteful in front of goal, Haaland should have done better with his chance in the first half and Savinho should have scored. Hopefully the injuries to Gonzalez and Savinho are not serious.

Took us a while to understand that the referee was allowing shirt pulling, arms around and basic shit-fuggery. Sorted in the second half and we did the same, but became difficult against a side that worked so hard.

And, honestly, who would be looking forward to Sturridge and Micah?

Crap. We talk about Arsenal not having the mentality of champions, well that was nowhere near it. With a couple of exceptions from players who have been there and done it, the rest didn't look like they were desperate to win that game.

No urgency in the game, even when it got desperate we were still pissing about with it. Other than Haaland, there is nobody in the team whose first thought is to shoot if the chance arises.

You can cite their home record but they haven't had almost an entire 11 unavailable all season like they had today. they had no ability to rotate, played their last game a day and a half later than us and yet we were the ones who lacked energy, there is no excuse for that other than a weak mentality.

We didn't lose but it feels like it as once again we fuck up our chance to put any pressure on Arsenal.

Not the end of the world . Imagine the Red Cartel only getting 4 mins injury time . They make it up as they go along . Some positives but we didn’t wake up until it was too late . Rodri makes the game so simple .

Cherki was poor, he will always struggle in those physical games.

Foden and Haaland were so poor. Sav, and Doku were just, well, sav and Doku.

I think the rest actually played well in a game we definitely lose last year.
