Don't rate Kola as a left back. I agree Fernandinho would be better with a consistent run there.

Kolarov is very strong in the air. He reads the game well enough in that position to ensure his lack of pace isn't exposed. He's also got excellent distribution.

It really surprises me how many of our supporters don't see it.

Been far and away our best CB this season.

I think they do, at least I do, his positional play at full back and aging legs meaning he just can't get up and down make him a liability at LB these days. At CB he has been solid, he reads the game, gives us some aerial presence and is decent on the ball which is key under Pep

I would like to see him and VK together

Constantly changing defenders is not a good policy. Bit of stability needed there. Other than that good line up and bravo where he belongs.
