Literally Bernardo's only attribute now is being a smart player who is in the right place, it just happens that Rodri is better at what Bernardo is best at, and Bernardo is literally a 0/10 in passing, creativity, tackling, counterattacks, aerial threat, blocking, dribbling...whilr Rodri is 8 or above in all of that.

Khusanov would mean moving Dias and no left footed centre back and I think Pep likes the balance at the moment. Not convinced he's having Khusanov either.

I will be amazed if he has any positive impact whatsoever. Im afraid I just dont rate him as a City player. He weakens the team.

Precisely why I am ecstatic he is back, so I don't have to see Bernardo just doing the bare minimum and people saying he makes us tick (when again Rodri on average increases our possesion 4-5% and has around 40-50 more passes/touches per game than Bernardo), but being incapable of bringing any offensive (and I mean any offensive stat other than assists or goals) or defensive elite skill.

Your talking absolute bollocks , or course Rodri would be an improvement but Bernardo has been fantastic sitting next to Nico G and a huge reason our control of games has returned and Nico G has turned is personal form around.

It would be a travesty, because Nico is miles ahead Bernardo defensively and slightly better offensively. Rodri would bring all the things Bernardo offers, but better, and then a 100 other things as well. And if we sit Cherki, Foden or Doku for Bernardo... I will go insane probably.

Don’t get me wrong, I think he could be one of the best defenders we’ve ever had. He just needs to concentrate for 90 minutes as he sometimes gives the ball away unnecessarily.

Rodri hasn’t played for yonks and will need time to get match fitness and form. Let’s not pretend he already has both
