When he's on it Cherki is a joy to watch. Haut en couleur. Have we had anyone as flamboyant as Cherki since Rodney? We've had great players but Rodney and Rayan brought and bring a level of 'cheek' to the game. Brilliant performance.

I voted Donaruma. I think had he not made that wonderful save from Dias’s error, we may have panicked and seen a repeat of the Leeds/Fulham defending. Donaruma had very little to do but when he needed to do it, his save,..for me was as good as a couple of goals.!

Come on mate we've won 3-0 if no players ever made mistakes we would be champions every season with 114 points.

True enough ... but if these players want to take the step up from being good players, to becoming great ones, they need to concentrate a bit more, and cut the mistakes out, it's happening too often ..... they will only progress if they learn from their errors .... we were really fortunate that Sunderland didn't score there, and we tend to leak goals at the best of times ... three games just gone, six goals conceded .... its not just those two players though who are prone to errors.

It was a great save because he didn't expect Dias to cock up, and he didn't have much time to react when he did .... the Sunderland player didn't waste any time lashing a shot in, and it was a top save in every way.
