Do we actually practice crossing the ball in training? All i've seen this season are shit, floating crosses aimed at no one in particular. Today was no different. Look at Sunderland's cross for their first goal - pinpoint, fast and direct to a man. Jovetic's cross/pass for Nasri's goal - low, fast and direct. I'm sick to the back teeth of Milner, Navas, Nasri, Zabaleta floating crosses into the box to be met by defenders.
Anyway, a poor performance once again and, for me, it's time to concede the title challenge. I've been biting my tongue the past few weeks regarding our performances, and I do not blame any refereeing decisions. This team should be good enough, should be showing signs of progression, but we seem to have stagnated. Ideally, I want to see the dead wood moved out - we know who they are - I want more pace and balance throughout the team, especially going forward, cut out this farting about waiting for support - look at Sunderland's second goal, perfect counterattacking play - I want to see quick defenders and I want to see players passing to feet.
