Winning away at an Allardyce relegation threatened team, pulling away from title favourites Arsenal, with two home games to come against first and third but I don't think I've ever been so disillusioned with a performance as I have tonight when I mistakenly stumbled into the match thread. What a fucking shambles that was. I certainly won't be going there again. Is it like that every week?
Sunderland are playing like they want to stay up! They're not standing aside and letting us win, the bastards. Now they're getting physical (what a shocker that must've been), MP is a tosser, Yaya is 'gash'(?), Silva can't pass, the defence is woeful, the midfield can't run, can't pass, can't tackle. Sterling a disgrace. Kolarov ridiculous and Clichy awful. Oh, and they've all stopped trying. Really?
Sometimes you just have to get out with 3 points. Every title winning team does it sometimes in a season. If we win another 4 away games just the same way, that'll do for me, as it will be game over. We could still have 30 games left this season and everyone should be pulling more or less, in the same direction. Can't wait for Saturday. Bring it on.

We are playing a lot of games, Teams like Leicester have it easy. I think we really battled today and just have to do our bit now we know pellers is going and push our team over that winning line. I think now it's about belief and characterTo those thinking the players may be easing up for pellers now he's one his bike you should have seen the players at the end. Good well fought win against a team getting their shit together for the relegation battle, onwards and upwards :-)
Although I'm ecstatic with the result I find the comments about the defenders playing well quite funny. It was more of the same really, only the two or three mistakes, mostly from corners, somehow didn't end up in the back of the net.

We couldn't string 2 passes together, no running off the ball, no helping teammates out, halfarsed & no spirit at all going forward & you think it was a brilliant effort . Our standards really have dropped.
you watched a completely different game from me , you are way off the mark , "no spirit at all going forward" , which infers we had spirit defending then , so make your mind up . We beat Leicester on Saturday we are top of the Premiership, already in a Cup Final and still in 4 competitions , and yet our standards are dropping , funny as f*ck
