Sunderland Vs City Post Match Thread

Great result and cracking first half.

But that second half was bordering on poor.

Aguero's miss was ridiculous.

Kevin De Bruyne looks absolutely frighteningly good!

Good productive game. Senior players back to winning ways. Nice to see Aguero get on the score sheet.De Bryune was impressive once again and some young players got play time. Result.

Great result, decent performance, three of the kids got on - happy enough with that.

And De Bruyne is going to be fucking brilliant for us.

Not the most impressive 4-1 but it will do, need to up the intensity against spuds.

Despite his goal, thought Sterling was awful. Those slating Navas off for nil end product should turn their attention to him. Augero still totally out of sorts. Thought Fernando had a good game after being out for so long.

Good team selection by Pellers and gave young uns a chance which, IMO they didn't take.

Still a great result and were in the pot for the next round.

Very good response, well done blues. Good to see the 3 young guns on. Shame for nacho tho :(
Fans sounding good, mind were the Sunderland fans even there?

For once I predicted right score! Brucey bonus ;)

Bring on the spuds!!

Honestly, I say we didnt play well. I understand it would be stupid to try hard for this game so its understandable but some parts of that game was dire.

Easy win, confidence boost for the players, well done Navas, very lively and congrats to the youngsters especially George Evans

perfect away match ,no one injured fingers crossed ,4 away goals we went quiet when kdb went quiet, and plus the 3 young lads got game time ,well done city

Despite the goal, the assist and forcing the own goal you mean?

Great performance.

Delighted with the result and the fact that 'right' players scored.

Super Kev continues to delight and it was great to see Sergio and Raheem on the scoresheet again.

But the biggest thrill of the night was George Evans finally making his first-team début.

The first lad to play for City at every level; a fantastic achievement. And I believe he's the first George to play for the seniors since our title-winning centre-half and former pub landlord, George Heslop.

Unless anyone knows better.

excellent performance in the first half apart from aguero miss the second half we simply took the foot of the gas
