i think zabaleta should of backed up Richards by tucking in behind him goal side and stopping him from cutting inside.instead as usual he jumped in forceing Richards to then back off.

Richards is shite, he was about ten yards off Malbranque when he got the ball.
He does it every game he plays at RB ,nowhere near good enough for the next level.

this! richards had him covered ten when zabaleta got involved richards dropped back. cant blame micah for that. after that its just a very good header

To be honest the header looked right in the corner and most keepers know when they're beaten.

But the cross should never have come in especially with two men closing him down.

This is the very thing Mancini went on about, and continues to go on about - CONCENTRATION. Vinnie, I think, was half asleep when he jumped with Jones, and there were TWO City players, Micah was one, who just gave MalPractice two or three yards of space to measure a cross. Terrible defending. Even the mediocre will profit from this level of defending.
