I tried to get into it years ago! So I could have an opinion on it! And quite frankly only the America could come up with a sport like this! Rugby union is a cracking sport! This is not!

im the same now. never used to get it but after grasping the basics it really is quality entertainment. in fact id say most real football games dont match up to it (the best real football game cant be beat but ive never seen a really terrible american football game... i think all of us on here have seen plenty of dreadful real football games though!)

the continuous breaks can get a bit frustrating but it doesnt bother me on c4/bbc because of the analysis. the constant adverts on american streams really wind me up though
