yeah, small faces is a great shout, marriott, jones, lane, mclagan were what would be called a super group now, but pipped by zep for me, loved steve marriott, very under rated

Was just acknowledging the post that alot of Zep fans say the best singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer of all time were all in Led Zeppelin but Page and Jones were 2 of the best session players in the land and had played on some tracks of the biggest bands of the era inc The Kinks and The Who. Page had been in The Yardbirds also. JPJ was a master arranger. Cream btw are fantastic.

Still a proper band though. Not a supergroup.
