Can't forgive Darius as he has ruined my party piece every home game! I used to shout Darius give us a wave and do you want your watch back mate! Block 119 will know that it was my highlight (sad) One of those players who always gave his all and you can't ask for more than that in my books.

I emailed Darius to show him this page, and he sent me a reply:

Thank you Paul... Thats really nice to hear and unexpected.... I never really had a chance to say goodbye and i will issue a full statement shortly for those that are interested....

With all the things going on at city in my last year i sort of became forgotten which is understandable as the talent you have now in your team is tremendous...

I will come back as a supporter soon when im back in England as i stay in touch with the younger stars there and they no doubt will help me with tickets etc....

Good luck for the season, you have a big chance this year of doing something great!!
