i really should be somewhere else
good mate of mine was offered superbia as fan no 54! he goes everywhere. I spoke to him about it and he quite rightly said he'd worked out he'd paid £1500 for all tickets last year so he couldn t justify the extra grand! This lad has just returned from the US/Canada trip, he goes everywhere with city!

Anyway he was telling me that 5 superbia members (who he knows well) were also out there.

He told me that they got loads and loads of extras! a limo would be sent by the club to pick them up, take them to functions, training etc!

One day they were picked up and taken to free lunch with Buzzer!

They were given city tops signed by the whole squad etc etc A girl was on the trip just to look after them!

I know that theres been a lot of discussion about this, but my view is that this is a good deal (if youve got the time and money) its a great marketing strategy. The extra grand (to me ) seems worth it x 10 if you have the time for every trip and a loose £2500.

It certainly isnt a rip off quite good if you ask me

would this deal now make some go for it next year??

Edited for what it would take to make people consider Superbia.

i've nothing to add to this aside from saying, salfordpaul, the transfer forum needs you as it is quite slow at the moment

Sounds really good the club are looking after the fans. £2,500 though is a bit much for most, and Glen-quagmire would get all that for free off their kid.

They did similar in south africa two years ago with cook giving out free shirts 3 months before they came out (sash one).

Does anyone know what the take up was? I have seen as low as 25 and as high as a 1000

25 pal! i think this will rise considerably next year if we achieve our goals!

In that case, the 25 deserve to be looked after but the club must be disappointed in the take up.

So all the money that the club has made from Superbia memberships can probably just about pay for a players wages... for a week.

When is Nasri done? If I got offered supernia I'd have taken it!

What is this Supernia you talk of? does it have any better perks than Superbia?

It's a special type of hernia, VIP-only.

Im in. ;)

When I renewed my Season Ticket in June I asked how many Superbia had been taken up and was told about 100. If I was told it was any where near a 1000, owning a Season Ticket and 6,000 points in the hope of getting most away tickets would have been impossibly difficult. In fact there would be no point in holding a Season Ticket. Pay as you go would have been an option. City have to tread very carefully on this supurbia allocation and remember the Fans who travel away all Season also need a reliable Away Ticket allocation for all Fans.
