These huge Supermarkets that were the go to place and destroyed the High St are now deserted a lot of the time when I go.

Tesco OT, Asda Birchwood Irlam Broadheath as examples appear to be twice as big as they need to be IMO.

Guess it's home deliveries that are taking away the footfall?

On average less than 10% of sales are online and all the big 4 are making record profits , sainsburys last year making over 650m profit, and they still sit in second behind Tesco. Despite your experience they are riding the wave of a boom in regards sales and profits.

Depends what time you go.If you go on a Sunday within a few hours of 4pm closing it's always rammed pack.

Why would you complain about a supermarket being not busy? Means you can breeze through without annoying cunts blocking the whole aisle lingering as they ponder their potential purchases as if they are actually admiring art in a gallery, no kids having tantrums, and shelves aren't empty.

Another notable time to avoid is around lunchtime during the week when the golden oldies descend there.

Lidl, Aldi, B&M, home bargains etc all offer the same cheaper and at time of better quality
