Supermarkets

I bet you're the kind of person who scrapes the car dealers sticker of the inside of your rear window on your car, aren't you. Or any other decals or signage appertaining to the manufacturer of your smoker in the car park.
And the number plate ones, as I find it presumptuous and unnecessary. I don't even allow adverts on our TV so why would I want them scrawled all over my car.

Incidentally I do allow certain advertising, and have just had to lower my Brave Browser shield positions to down, so as Riculas can pay his hosting. Only thing is they are all in Double Dutch, as I'm logged on from the Netherlands.
Malta Geniet van cultuur en heerlijk eten said Prusvru vakanties and I'm not going to argue with that!

Worling in the food industry we have seen wholesale prices on perishables go up between 12-58% on items, thankfully dairy is leveling out and should start going down of the supermarkets have the good grace to reduce the prices
In what period of time is that mate ?
After Covid the green beans were 69p, have been for a while, few months ago went up to 79p, within the last month they’ve gone up to 89p, then 99p and now £1.49, Lidl’s are still 99p.

Tempted to just get the slightly smaller bag of fine green beans for £2 from Sainsburys, also noticed with Aldi last few months quite a few of their chicken breast fillets have been having big chunks of cartilage and joint bones left in, I’ve been a big fan of Aldi for around 25 years but starting to fall out with them a bit now, be shopping at ‘Heroin Foods’ soon ;-).

Over mamy months and covers more tham fruot n veg, even paper disposables had a shortage at one point and bottled water wholesale, driving up prices as demand increased

Cheers bud, what’s Aldi’s reasoning for so many hikes in quick succession though is more what I’m asking (there’s quite a few items I normally buy, greens beans were the best example I could come up with, it just seems every other week they’re going up 10,20,30p + each time the last couple of months, maybe I’m missing something.

I only shop in Aldi, Lidl, Sainsburys and Tesco, Tesco has gone quite expensive but Sainsburys and Lidl seem to have managed to keep their prices more stable from the stuff I buy, I generally buy the same things so not like I’m chopping and changing every week.

Well I cannot speak for supermarkets reasons but all crops have been affected the last 2-3 years from shifting weather patterns with a lot of shortages on and off for many veg items, then you had the bird flu epidemic across europe hence the egg rationing nd high rise in the price of chicken since october

Like many, it’s shopping in the nearest to home but my preference is an Asda or a Morrisons. I like Sainsburys too.
