Superstitious?

Fuck all to do with City but i have to have volumes set on even numbers!

If the tv or radio doesn't have numbers my now finely tuned ear can tell the difference between even and odd lol.

Wife thinks im fucking barmy but trust me, the thought of a tv volume being on an odd number drives me crazy :-/
Oh my God... i'm EXACTLY the same! It really pisses me off as well when say 18 is too quiet but 20 is too loud. Even then, i still don't use 19.

I will be wearing the exact same clothing for the final as I did the semi , I honestly believe I have the power .

Going off topic aswell, am i the only one that can't watch Sky with the red dot in the corner, it drives me mad?

I have to make sure i click back up after every set of adverts as i can't watch the TV with it in the corner.

It's not as if it's in the way but i just know it's there, it might be because it's red i don't know, it just bugs me?

Nope, I am with you on that one. I have to get rid of the red dot. Drives me crazy when I go to my parents' house and I dont have control of the remote.
As for superstitions, I will be wearing the same as for he semi and make sure I listen to the same music at half-time (alicia keys) and nothing else...

The black and red scarf which the club did for Nellie, has been round my neck for all 7 cup ties we have played so far, so that's a defo for me.

NEVER wear colours on derby day! If i cant make it to a match, NEVER watch down the pub, always on the same seat in my house! I even try and be nice to most people a day or two before a big match and hope my behaviour is rewarded 8-) lol

-- Mon May 09, 2011 4:53 pm --

This!! If I leave the red dot there City lose, if I press "back up" to get rid of it we win

Same clothes and staying at the same place

-- Mon May 09, 2011 7:09 pm --

i always salute 1 magpie

I also have a thing about Magpies on matchdays, i have been known to see 1 on it's own and have driven out of my way to find 2.

I tell ya..................i blame City for my disorder!
I saw one magpie in Wycombe, fucking panicked because I forgot about what you were meant to do to make sure it doesn't bring you bad luck, then remembered and saluted it.

I'm going to be wearing the exact same clothes that I wore when we beat the scum in the semis

I've listened to this at least once a day since we beat Reading.

That's roughly around 57 times.

I bought some new socks about twelve months ago, one pair in particular have been lucky, we always win when I wear them whilst attending a game, I've tried and testing them by making sure I wear different ones but its these ones that always come up trumps. I told my mates about them a couple of months ago so they had another scrutiny and again they come up trumps, I wore them for the semi and we all know what happened.
These socks have now got superstar status amongst my mates and I'm now always asked "are the socks on", the next two games will be a real test!
My socks were given a rendition of "WE'VE GOT CHARLIE'S SOCKS, WE'VE GOT CHARLIE'S SOCKS" outside The Flag in Watford after the semi.

feedthegoat will vouch for the above BTW.
